A Few Cute Pics!

There hasn't been a lot going on around here lately. Since I don't really have anything fun to post about, I thought I would post a few pics from the last few days. I hope you all enjoy!

Ike

Hurricane Ike ended up bringing us a day FULL of rain on Saturday. It actually rained for almost 12 hours straight! I think that might be a record!

Parker LOVES the rain! Since it wasn't lightening outside, I let him go play in it for a bit. The winds were VERY strong, so I couldn't let him go far, but he still had a blast!

He wanted to put on his Diego raincoat and use his Diego umbrella that his Auntie Alli got for him. Thanks Alli! He was so precious in all his gear!

So cute!

My handsome Peanut!
So precious!

Mall Time

The kids and I met Claire, Andrea, Erin, and Kendall at Willowbend for some mall time on Friday. We were just supposed to meet to have lunch and let the kids play; I wasn't going to do any shopping. Funny how things change so quickly!!

Andrea wanted to go to Strasburg to get Claire and Carter's Christmas outfits. I don't normally even go in this store, much less actually buy anything; they are WAY out of my price range! Well, it just so happens that I went in on the right day! They were having a HUGE sale!

I was just browsing through the clearance rack when the sales lady told us that there was an additional 50% off on all the clearance items. Cha Ching!! There was an absolutely beautiful dress that just screamed, "Peyton!" It was originally $142, marked down to $61, which means I got it for $30! Can you believe it?!?! It is going to be her Easter dress for next year.

Also, this is a little off subject, but since I am talking about awesome prices, I thought I would throw out another little bit of information; Wal-Mart has their milk on for $2.48! If any of you go through milk as fast as we do, you need to stock up!!!

Here's me and Andrea at the playground
Bitty and her Aunt Annie
The $30 dress...isn't it pretty?!?! I wish y'all could see all the detailing on it!

Girl Time

I am so behind on blogging! For those of you that read my blog regularly, I apologize!

Last week was a really good week. Parker had a great time at school! We got to spend time with friends and family! Peyton even had her first girls only play date!

On Wednesday morning, after I took Parker to school, Claire and Andrea came over. We thought it would be a good chance for the girls to be able to play together. They ended up having a blast! It was so fun to see them interact with one another without trying to do everything Parker does; they both idolize him!

Can you tell Peyton had a blast?!?!?
My Itty Bitty
Claire was playing doctor...too cute!
Lucky would NOT leave Andrea alone...it was hilarious!
My Berry...she was saying Cheese!
She LOVES the Backyardigans...she's showing me Tyrone!
Now Bitty's playing doctor...I think Lucky wanted to play too!
Reading their song books!
They thought something was funny!
Cracks me up!
How cute is this?!?!

First REAL Haircut

This morning Parker had his 2nd day of school. Peyton was fine dropping him off, but threw a fit when it was time to get in her seat to leave. She did NOT want to leave her big brother!!

After we left the school, we needed to go to Wal-Mart to get a few necessities. By the way, they have milk on for $2.50! Y'all need to stock up!! Anyway, Bitty has been in severe need for a haircut. I cut her baby mullet the first time and now that it was growing out again, it was looking a little scraggly!

There is a salon in our Wal-Mart, so that's where we went. The lady was great!! She left Peyton in the buggy and just strapped a cape around her. It worked out very well! Peyton did great with the haircut. The only part she didn't like was the cape. She tried to take it off the entire time!

Her hair looks so much better! I didn't let the lady touch the front, because I don't want her to have bangs. She just trimmed the back and evened it out. I am very happy with it!

"Get this cape OFF of me!!" Being a very good girl for her haircut!
"I want this thing OFF of me!"
Pretty girl!
"Lady, I told you to take this thing off of me. NOW!"
The finished product! Very cute!

I hope you all have a great day today!

He really does Love her!!!

The kids and I came outside last night as Nona was getting ready to leave. She watched the kids for Adam and I so we could go watch the Cowboy game with some friends. Thanks Nona!

Parker sat down on the ice chest that he had pulled into the driveway. Bitty went over to sit next to him. Normally this would cause a fight. Not last night!! He welcomed her to sit next to him and even put his arm around her!!! I was shocked!

I rushed to get the camera and was able to get a shot of it right before they got up. It is too cute!

Isn't that precious?!?!

Love you all!

Dallas Cowboys!!!!!!

Yesterday was the first Dallas Cowboy game of the season! We LOVE the Cowboys in the Allen household! The Boys pulled through yesterday and won 28-10!! Woo hoo!!

We always dress up in our Cowboy gear for game day. I had to get some pics of the kids since they looked so cute!
