Sleep Deprived

Today was a pretty uneventful day because I spent 6 hours of it sleeping. Luckily my husband was off almost all day, because I was up all night with the kids! Parker was up several times and was up for good at 5:00 this morning. Peyton was up almost all night too. When she wasn't screaming, she was talking, and of course, I had the monitor on, so needless to say, I got NO sleep!

Adam attended an award's ceremony this morning and was home by 11:00. He graciously let me sleep from 11:00 to 5:00. So, I feel a little back to normal now...whatever normal may be! Then, it was dinner, bathtime, and bedtime!

I feel bad starting a blog on a day which NOTHING happened, but trust me, there will be plenty of excitement to come in the future! For those of you that know me well, you know that there is hardly EVER a quiet time in the Allen household.

Parker says some of the funniest things, and tonight he was pretending to sing and play guitar. He proceded to bow and say "thank you, thank you very much, thank me for sing". It was hilarious, so of course, we had to thank him for singing us such a pretty song, of which we understood NONE of.

Peyton's thing right now is saying "Mama" and "Daddy" repeatedly for no reason at all. She screams at you until you answer her, and when you do, she replies with "Mama" or "Daddy". At first it was super cute, but now it is starting to get a tad bit overwhelming. At dinner tonight she was doing it over and over and over! Adam could tell I was getting frustrated, so he looked at Peyton and told her if she continued to do that Mama was going to take her to a field and drop her off. For those of you that don't know Adam, he is SUPER sarcastic, so it was pretty funny!

Anyhow, that's all I have for tonight since nothing much happened. I promise that the blogs will get better and I will have LOTS of pictures to post. I am a picture fanatic!

Oh, one more thing...Happy 2nd Anniversary to Holby and Alli tomorrow!!! If you know them, send them a little message on their special day. Love you guys! Kiss Chloe and Trey for me!

Love you all
Heather

I think I'm going to give this BLOG thing a try!

Several of my friends have started blogs for their family and friends, so I thought I might give it a try. I was really inspired to start one after reading Shauna's blog, Blah Blah Blog! She is great at blogging and adding sarcasm to all the crazy things that happen as a SAHM (Stay-at-home Mom).

I am really starting this for my family more than anything, because they live all over, and rarely get to see the kiddos. I thought this would be a good way to keep them updated and see recent pics of the kids. I am very bad about sending out e-mail updates, so maybe I'll be better about this.

I really enjoy reading all of my friend's blogs, so maybe y'all will enjoy reading mine too. The Lord knows that plenty of crazy stuff happens in the Allen household to keep me writing for days!

I think my husband is a little worried about what I am going to post on here, because when I told him I was thinking of starting a blog, he asked "What all are you going to put on there?". I told him I was just going to post about the kids, and I'd leave him out of it, so there probably won't be much on here about Adam. He is a MUCH more private person than I am!

Anyway, I guess I will get started on my first blog about the kids. I hope you all enjoy reading this and enjoy the pics that I will post. I am probably going to be asking Mel and Forbes a lot of questions, because I am pretty clueless when it comes to this!

Love you all
Heather
