Happy Halloween!!

I hope everyone had a Happy Halloween!!

Although Adam and I didn't dress up, the kids did! Peyton dressed up as a lady bug and Parker dressed up as Batman! They were absolutely adorable!

Granna and Aunt May came to Wylie to go trick-or-treating with us. We went around the neighborhood and the kids had a blast! They got more candy than I would allow them to eat in a whole year, but I am sure between Adam and I, that it won't go to waste!!

Parker did an excellent job at saying "trick-or-treat" and "thank you!" All we could get out of Peyton was "pop", for lollipop, and a few "thank yous!" If we would have let her, I can promise you she would have eaten 10 lollipops!

We stayed out about two hours. Once Parker's bucket was so full he could hardly carry it, we decided it was time to head back home. He was so concerned about getting more candy; as if he didn't have enough already!!

I hope everyone had as great of an evening as we did!!

Here's our little lady bug!!!
Can you believe we have a SUPER HERO living in our house?!?!
They can not cooperate to take a picture together!
My precious little man!

Peyton refused to be in another picture!
Granna, Aunt May, and Batman
Lady Bug giving her Daddy kisses...she is SUCH a Daddy's girl!
Is this not adorable?!?!
And how sweet is this?!?!
I think this picture is so cute...it makes me giggle!
Our little family again!
This house was SO cool! Peyton was a little freaked out by the witch!
This house was decorated pretty cute too!
Aunt May and Peanut strolling along.
This was BY FAR the BEST house of the night!!! They had two blow up houses before you got to the front door. The entire front lawn was decorated. When you walked through the two blow up houses, there were bubbles, strobe lights, spider webs, skulls, and all sorts of other festive things! It was the best decorated house I have ever seen for Halloween!
Peyton eating one of her "pops"!!
Parker decided he wanted one too!
This cracks me up!!! She did this with almost every piece of candy!

Fall Party

This afternoon, we headed back up to the school for Parker's Fall Party! The kids had a great time and were SO concerned about when they would get to eat their cake. All the mom's pitched in and the party was a total success!!

I tried to get a picture of the whole classroom. Parker is in the far back on the left.Peyton got all cutsied up to go to the party! She was so excited to see her brother at school!
Here's Parker's table.
Peyton would not leave her brother's side!
Can you tell they were having fun?!?! Look at that precious smile!
Peyton especially loved the cupcakes I made! She was covered in chocolate!
Parker LOVED the sweets too!

Parker's Costume Parade

This morning, Parker had a costume parade at school. He was so excited to be able to wear his costume to school!! All the kids were SO precious!

This is Ms. Angie, who led his class in. Can you see the little Batman head sticking out? This is Batman and I think a guy from Star Wars! (a.k.a. Parker and his buddy Luke!)
How cute is he?!?!?
The next two are attempts at a class picture! I was cracking up!!
Aren't they all adorable?!?!

10 Year High School Reunion

Saturday night was my 10 year high school reunion for Waxahachie High School. For those of you that don't know, we moved to Hachie during my junior year of high school. I had lived in Duncanville my entire life until then. A few months ago I attended my Duncanville Class of '98 reunion as an honorary alumni; and now I have attended my second reunion as an actual alumni. I hated having to leave the town that I grew up in during my junior year, but it was a blessing in disguise! Not only did I remain friends with my class from Duncanville, but I ended up meeting some of my bestest, lifelong friends in Waxahachie!

Friday night was the "meet and greet" at a bar in downtown Waxahachie. Several of my closest friends in school were there, along with others that I hadn't seen since I graduated. It was awesome getting to see everyone!

Saturday night was the actual reunion. Jenny ended up putting almost the entire thing together. Thanks Jenny!! Jenny, April, Forbes, and I got there a couple of hours before it started so we could set everything up and decorate. It ended up looking really cute! People started rolling in around 7:00 and by 7:30 it was in full swing. We ended up having 102 people show up, which isn't bad for a class of only 283 people. It was great getting to see the people that were unable to come on Friday night!

Overall, the reunion was a success! I am so happy that I got to see everyone and get caught up on their lives. I am looking forward to our 20 year reunion!

This was one of the signs we had up.
Me, Jenny, Forbes, and April on Friday night!
Me and April
Me and Michelle (Forbes). She was my BFF in Waxahachie, and still is to this day!Me and Jenny
Kristen, Karly, Michelle, and AprilMe and Jenny with the twins, Brent and Brian! Yes, they are really twins!
Brent was my first friend and my best guy friend in Waxahachie. I love this guy!!!
We were so busy, that this is the only picture I ended up getting on Saturday night, other than the sign! How sad is that?!?!?

I hope everyone had a great weekend! Sorry I haven't posted in so long. I promise I am going to try to get better about posting! I used to be great about it; don't know what happened!

Visiting Carter

Today while Parker was at school, Peyton and I went to the hospital to see the Crabtree family. I had a big sister present for Claire, and I wanted Peyton to be able to give it to her.

The girls were very happy to see each other. They even shared lunch together - Claire was trying to feed Peyton. It was pretty funny! The girls are only 3 1/2 months apart, but since Peyton is so much smaller, Claire still thinks she is a baby. She kept trying to shove food in her mouth, while saying, "here little baby!"

Claire loved her present. I found a precious necklace and bracelet set at Target made out of colorful, wooden beads. I got a gift bag that looked like a little purse, so Claire was in heaven! She immediately wanted to put on her new jewelry and put her "purse" on her arm. It was too cute!

Carter is even cuter today than he was yesterday! He is still doing great and seems to be a very happy little boy! Andrea was up and moving today. She is in a bit of pain from the staples and stitches, but is actually moving quite well. Her biggest problem right now is the nausea from all the medicine they have her on. Bless her heart - that is the WORST feeling!

Please keep the Crabtree family in your prayers. They will be going home on Friday, which I am sure they are really looking forward to!

Here's Peyton in the glider at the hospital - she thought she was SO big!
I know this one is a bit blurry, but it is the closest thing I could get to a smile!
I finally got a picture with my new "nephew"!
I couldn't help but to give him a million kisses!
Peyton got to have a lollipop in the hospital room - it kept her occupied until Claire got there!
Here's Claire opening her present. Peyton was so curious!
Look at that precious face!! Do you think she liked it?!!?
All ready to go - she has her jewelry on and her purse on her arm!
Isn't this sweet?!?! She actually asked if she could hold him.
Peyton was so curious about Carter. She would come really close to him and smile and look, but didn't want to touch him or kiss him. She just kept looking at him, then looking at me, and smiling, saying "baby!"

Also, today was a big day for Parker at school. The firemen came to visit! Parker was so excited when he got in the car after school! He wanted to tell me all about the firemen and the fire truck. I am so happy that he is enjoying school. My biggest fear when he started was that he would hate it and never want to go. It is the exact opposite! Every morning on non-school mornings, he is asking if he can go to school. He doesn't quite understand why he only gets to go two days a week. Hopefully next year we can afford to have him in a 4 day program! I know he would LOVE it!

I hope everyone is doing well! Love you all!
