First of all, I wanted to let you all know that my blog is complete. It has been done for a while now, but I am just now getting around to posting about it. Hollie did an amazing job and I really want y'all to check out her design blog! Thanks again Hollie! She is so patient and will tweak it until you are 100% happy. I love my new look!
This past weekend we got to go see Craig and Czarina's new house for Craig's birthday celebration. Their house is beautiful! I cannot believe that I didn't take a single picture while we were there. That is SO unlike me! I guess it's because I was having so much fun visiting with the girls and loving on Charleigh, that it didn't even cross my mind. It was great to get together with our friends that we don't get to see that often.
Czarina has a heart doppler machine and we were able to hear the heartbeats of her's and Silvana's buns in the oven! It was so cool! Czarina is having a little girl and Silvana is having a little boy. I am so happy for them!
They have two Golden Retrievers, and the kids LOVED them! They are used to being around big dogs because of Lucky, so it was fun for them to run around with 2 big dogs. Parker also got to play "big boy" games with the guys on Craig's Wii and had an absolute BLAST!! It was so fun to watch him feel like one of the guys. They were all so great with him and never once tried to exclude him from anything they did.
I was very proud to see so many of the guys that I have known half of my life turn into such amazing men! The ones that are already Dads are great fathers; the ones that are soon-to-be Dads are going to be just as great with their children! It's such a cool thing to be a part of!
Also, I want to ask you all to keep my MIL, Robbin, in your prayers. She got laid-off last Thursday from her job. It's such a scary time right now, and with the economy being so bad, I am so scared it's going to be hard for her to find something quickly. Please pray that she will be able to find another job soon and that she will be able to keep her stress level down during this trying time!
Please pray for our family too in this situation. As most of you have probably read, or heard on the news, Neiman's is also doing lay-offs. I pray everyday that our family won't be affected by this, but I also pray for the families of all the people whom have been laid-off. I hate the situation we are all in right now! So, so scary!!
I hope you all had a great weekend and continue to have a great week! Love you all!

What are you wearing?!?!
I totally forgot I had this post sitting in my Drafts! I had uploaded the pictures, with all intentions to go back to it, and then completely forgot about it. Oops!
My kids are notorious for wanting to be naked. Most days, Bitty wakes up in only a diaper, because sometime in the night she has taken all of her clothes off. Then when you try to get her clothes back on her in the morning, she throws a fit, screaming, "Nakey Mama!!" So, 5 out of 7 days of the week, she is normally running around the house in nothing but a "biper".
Parker is no exception to the nudeness! He almost always wakes up and takes his pants off. Then, when it's time to go down for nap, he wants to be in nothing but a pull-up. When he wakes up from nap, I usually have a 50/50 chance of getting him to put his clothes back on.
Adam is always asking the kids where their clothes are when he comes home from work. A lot of the time I think he thinks that it's me, but I can assure you, it's not!! When they are able to undress themselves, there's really not a whole lot you can do about it. What am I going to do? Punish them for wanting to take their clothes off? I don't really think that's an answer. So, if we aren't going anywhere, or people aren't coming over, they ususally win the clothes battle, and run around "nakey"!
You've all seen the proof here, that it doesn't really matter where they are either. They are happy being half naked anywhere!!
So anyway, back to the point of this whole post. Like I just said, Parker always goes down for nap in nothing but a pull-up, but the other day he came out from nap fully dressed. The outfit he chose wasn't so bad, but the accessories were hilarious!! He had on his "gun" pants and army green shirt, but also had on his shiny, black dress shoes and his black belt OVER his shirt! I wasn't able to get a picture of the belt, because he had already untucked the shirt by the time I got the camera. I was able to get a few shots of him in the shoes though.

Fun at the Park
Yesterday we went to the park since it was such a beautiful day. The kids had such a great time playing outside! I wish it was Spring already, so we could go to the park more often.
Andrea taking Peyton down the slide. After a few times, she figured it all out, and was going down by herself. She thought she was such a big girl. She would clap every time she climbed up and made it to the top.
Parker getting ready to go down one of the bigger slides. He is obsessed with his sunglasses lately.
Carter enjoyed being outside too!
All the big kids in the sand box. I was shocked by the fact that they didn't even get that dirty!

Margot played in the sand too. Can you see all the sand on her nose?
Parker Says...
I left the house this morning with wet hair. I didn't have time to fix it before we were supposed to meet the Crabtree's, so it was wet and wavy. This is a normal thing for me, but I'm usually able to pull it into a ponytail. Well, not anymore! So, apparently Parker isn't used to my hair looking this way. When we were all loading in the car and getting ready to leave, Parker and I had a rather cute conversation!
Parker: "Mama, what is your hair?"
Me: "What do you mean, 'what is my hair'?"
Parker: "Well, what is it?"
Me: "You mean, it's wet and wavy?"
Parker: "Yeah. It's WIGGILY!"
Me: "Yeah. My hair isn't straight unless I can blow dry it."
Parker: (a little confused) "Oh, OK."
He continues to look at my hair pretty funny and it is very apparent that he does NOT like my hair this way! As we are leaving the park a couple of hours later, Parker tells me this.
Parker: (while looking at me pretty concerned) "Mama, I don't want my hair to be WIGGILY!"
So funny!!
Note to self: If my 3 year old son doesn't like my hair, and thinks it is scary, then maybe I shouldn't leave the house that way EVER again!!
What do y'all think?

Valentine's Card Video
Here is the video of my Valentine's card. I have told you all before how crazy my hubby is, and this card is absolute proof!! He was so excited for me to open the card and told me before I opened it, that it was the best card he had ever gotten me. He cracks me up!!
After I opened it and laughed my butt off, I told him that he had to be the least romantic person on the planet. He asked me if I would have wanted a mushy card from him and I honestly don't know that I would have. It would be nice to get a mushy card every now and then, but since I can appreciate his odd sense of humor, I can accept the odd cards as well!
Oh, I also have to tell you about him buying the card...this is hysterical!
Adam said when he was in the store looking for cards, there were some teenage girls down the aisle from him, and he heard this song being played. He looked around and realized it was the card that the girls were looking at. He thought to himself, "I have GOT to have that card", just as he heard one of the girls say, "Who would buy someone this card for Valentine's Day?"
So, he waited until he thought the girls were no longer around, and went and grabbed the card. Well, they were still there. As he picked it up, he heard the girls giggling. One of them said, and purposely loud enough for Adam to hear, "Oh my goodness. He's buying the 'Who let the dogs out card'!!!"
Hilarious!!

Crazy Doll Video
This is the video I told you all I would post of Peyton's semi-psychotic doll. She really is a cute little doll, but please tell me that you agree that it's really weird that her eyes go crazy when she laughs!

Videos coming up...
I'm sure you all noticed in the previous post that I chopped my hair off again. I have been growing it out since last year when Andrea and I cut our hair off for Locks of Love. I absolutely love my new haircut! I hope you all do too!
I'm sure you also noticed the very strange card that I was holding in one of the pictures. It is a hilarious card that my hubby got me for Valentine's. I'm going to take a video of it for you all to see.
I'm also going to take a video of Peyton's new baby doll. It is possessed when it laughs and blinks it's eyes uncontrollably. Hopefully I can get the videos taken tonight and get them posted.
I thought since I was talking about chopping our hair off for Locks of Love, and since it was before I started the blog, I would post some pictures of it. Here they are!

Valentine's Day
Yesterday was a pretty busy day for me. I went non-stop from 7am to 9pm! It was totally worth it though because it was a great day!
The kids and I had a birthday party to attend in Burleson for my cousin's little boy, Cade. It was at an awesome bounce house place called Going Apes. They had areas for kids of all ages, along with arcade games, and pool tables. Parker and Peyton ended up having so much fun!
Parker has an obsession with video games, so I don't know if he ever made it into one of the bounce houses. His time was spent pretending to play the games and watching other people play their games.
Peyton was a little reluctant at first, but ended up playing in the toddler area and had a blast! They had several slides and a swing, so she slid down the slide about 100 times and I had to swing her forever. She threw a fit when I told her it was time to get off!!
I got out my camera to take pictures and was VERY sad when I realized the battery was dead. I can't believe I wasn't able to take any pics! I really wanted to be able to post some pics of the birthday boy, Cade, and his little sister, Karsyn. I hardly ever get to see them and Karsyn is getting so big. She will be 1 at the end of April. She is so precious and looks just like her Daddy!
After the party, I drove the kids back to my parent's house. Granna and Grumps were keeping them for the night so Adam and I could go have a Valentine's dinner. Thanks Mom and Dad! After I dropped them off, I had to drive another hour back home to get ready for dinner. By the time I got home, I had driven over 3 hours total. Crazy!
We had reservations at Benihana's for 7:30 with Derek and Andrea. We decided to meet at 7:00 so we could get a drink before dinner. Our chef was hilarious and our dinner was delicious!! Benihana's has the best fried rice and their ginger dressing is to die for!
Adam and I came home and enjoyed a quiet house and watched a movie. It was a great end to a busy day. I love my Valentine!!

ENT Time
Thursday evening, Parker and I had our annual ENT appointments. I have had really bad ears my entire life, and I unfortunately passed a bit of it on to Parker. He had to have tubes put in a couple of years ago, but now his ears are perfect!!
Every year when we go, we have to do a hearing test, along with our exam. Last year, Parker wasn't very keen on it and didn't do a very good job. This year though, he did AWESOME!! I was SO proud of him. He sat in the booth like a big boy and did everything that was asked of him.
Parker's results were perfect and he just has to be on a nasal spray for his allergies to help open him up a little more. His ear drums weren't moving as well as they should because of his congestion. I was worried that he wouldn't want me spraying something up his nose, but he took it like a champ!
My results weren't so good! My hearing has gotten even worse. I have lost another decibel in each ear and by next year, if it goes down again, we will be fitting for hearing aids. Can you believe that?!?! I am TOO young for hearing aids! It is genetic nerve damage, so there is nothing they can do to stop the progression. It stinks, but what can I do about it? Nothing! So, I guess we'll just see how it goes next year.

New Dolly
The kids and I went out shopping with Robbin for most of the day on Thursday. She had to do some stuff for work, so we tagged along too. Since Valentine's Day was approaching, Nona used it as an excuse to buy the kids a new toy! Not that she really needs an excuse since she is their grandmother, but I am always telling her not to buy stuff for them because they already have TOO much!
While we were in Target, she took them up all the toy aisles and let them each pick out a toy. Parker picked a Transformer and Peyton chose ANOTHER baby doll. This one is different though, because it laughs! It's a little freaky when it laughs...I'll be posting a video later to show y'all.
Target was our last stop of the day, so Nona let them open their new toys and play with them on the drive home. Parker was SO excited! I wish y'all could have seen me and Robbin trying to figure out the Transformer. It is one of the big ones, so it takes about 20 moves to turn into a person, instead of an airplane. We were absolutely clueless!!
Peyton just fell in love with her new baby and propped her up in her car seat to ride home comfortably. It was so cute that I had to take a picture! Here it is.

She is such a good little Mama!!
Welcoming Margot!
The Crabtree Family has a new addition to their family. She is a Chocolate Standard Poodle puppy named Margot!
When they came over on Wednesday, Margot got to come along as well. She is the cutest, sweetest little puppy! I was worried about Lucky at first, because she is not known to get along with other dogs, but she ended up being great with her! When we first introduced them, Lucky was scared...it was hilarious! Then after awhile, they were sleeping and playing together like they were long, lost friends. I was shocked!
The kids had a blast playing with the new puppy and they wanted to know where she was EVERY second of the day. Parker even wanted "Buster" to sleep with him during his nap. I have no idea why, but for most of the day, he called Margot, "Buster". It was quite comical!
We let the kids play outside for most of the day since it was so beautiful. They ran around with the puppy close behind for what seemed like a couple of hours. It was so cute to see!

No, this is NOT Margot! Peyton wanted her picture taken too!
Hachie Night Out
Apparently I had a pretty busy day on Saturday. I didn't even realize it until I started doing these posts. Anyway, since Adam was out of town, we ended up staying Saturday night at my parent's house. Emily was in town too, so after the kids went to bed, we decided to go out for a little while. It's very rare that we get to do anything fun together because we live so far apart.
We went to a couple of the local bars and ran into a lot of people that we knew from highschool. It was fun to be able to hang out together and see so many people! I ended up staying out too late. We didn't get home until 1:00 and I had to get up with the kids the next morning, but it was worth it!

Oswald
Last Saturday, after the shower, my friend Michelle came over to Mom's house to bring Peyton her birthday present. Her whole family was sick the weekend of the birthday party and were unable to come. So, now that they were better, we got to see them and hang out for awhile.
Michelle knew what the party theme was going to be and decided to make a stuffed animal Oswald for Peyton. It turned out SO stinkin' cute!! Michelle spent so much time on it and did an awesome job! Thanks Michelle!
Peyton absolutely LOVED her "Wawald"!! She was so excited when she pulled the paper out of the bag and realized what was in there. She loved on it and gave it kisses...so sweet!

Michelle's Shower
I am SO behind on blogging!! I have 7 lined up and this is the first one.
Last weekend was Michelle's baby shower for Kate Elizabeth. It was so fun to get together and see all the sweet baby stuff. I LOVE baby girl things...they are so precious!!
She got so many new things for baby girl and Kate has enough clothes now to be dressed in style until she's a year old! Maybe not quite that long, but she sure did get a lot of great clothes!
