Today seemed noisier than usual though, so I decided to go check on him. This is what I found!
This is what I walked into!
He was reading a book.
He was very happy about it!
This is the drawer where I keep all the books that the kids aren't allowed to have without Adam and I. They are the non-board books. Meaning, they are the books that they can rip up!
This is where all the other books were! I mean, I love the fact that he likes to read, but was this really necessary? I guess he dug through them until he found the one he wanted to read.
This is the look I got when I asked him why all of his books were all over the floor! Think he looks a little guilty?!!?
Of course, I couldn't get mad at him for wanting to read, but I did make him clean up his mess! He was told that from now on if he wants a book from the drawer, he has to ask first, and he can pick out one at a time. Do you really think he'll listen?!!? I don't!!

Awwww...what a little cutie!
Coming from a teacher...you should be proud you have a boy who loves to read! So many boys could care less about books. You've done a good job making so many books available to him! Because of that, chances are he will be very smart in school and an awesome reader!
