First of all, let me apologize for the quality of these pictures! My scanner is not hooked up, so I took pictures of pictures, and they didn't turn out so well!
I was very worried about the pictures with Santa this year, and unfortunately I was proved RIGHT! Peyton is very weary of strangers, and Santa is most definitely a stranger, even though we have about 30 around our house! Not to mention the fact that Parker carries one around 24/7. I guess it's different when they are life-size and can talk though!
Anyway, I put Parker in Santa's lap first, and made a big deal about it to Peyton. She didn't care! She started crying before I even took her close to the poor man. So, needless to say, the picture did NOT turn out well! Not only does Peyton look like I put her in the arms of the devil, Parker looks pretty perturbed because he wasn't happy about the fact that his sister was ruining his time with his beloved Santa.
Parker did get another chance with Santa on Saturday. We attended a craft fair in Waxahachie and they had a Santa there for all the kids. I wasn't able to take a picture, because they were charging for them, but I feel a lot better knowing that Parker got to have a real talk with Santa without his sister having an anxiety attack next to him!

Here's the beautiful picture!!! Is it not hilarious?!?!
Friday afternoon when we returned home, I was looking at the Santa pictures from the 3 previous years. I noticed something pretty comical!! Pay close attention to Parker in the pictures, and see if you know what I'm talking about.

I love that picture. I have it on my desk this morning. Everytime I look at the kids I crack up.
