Poor Peanut!

After complaints from Parker about his ear and his bottom, I decided to take him to the doctor today. Luckily I did, because he has a mild ear infection in his right ear, and cellulitis on his bottom. It is basicly a form of strep that you can get in your anus. You can click here to read about it. I had never heard of it, but apparently, from what the doctor told us, it is very common in children. If your child ever complains that his/her bottom hurts, and you see a red streak extending from it, don't chalk it up to diaper rash or chaffing, because it could be cellulitis. Isn't that crazy?!?! Who would have thought you could get strep on your bobo? Definitely not me!

I guess that's enough talk about behinds for today.

And thanks for the education: I,too, was unaware of the bobo strep...Wow, and you think you know stuff!
