I don't know why I don't do a daily blog post. I wait until I have a weeks worth of pictures and then decide to put them on the blog. I think it would be a lot easier on me, and a lot less time consuming, if I did it daily!
Anyway, I have 5 or 6 posts to do, so it's going to take me a while.
We had a pretty slow week, but we still seemed to do a lot of fun things. We spent a LOT of time outside, either painting or playing in the water. We also ventured out of the house 3 out of 5 days this week. That's pretty impressive for us! Normally, other than our weekly trip to Hachie (which we didn't do this week), we may only leave the house one other day until the weekend arrives.
The kids are still bickering with each other quite a bit, but I have to say, it looks like it may be getting better. They are definitely playing a lot better together! The only big issue we are still having, is the hitting. Does anyone know how to make this stop?!?! If they do end up getting mad at each other, the first thing they do is hit. It drives me crazy!! It doesn't matter what I do to discipline them, because there have been several times when one of them has come out of time-out, and within minutes, they have hit again. I don't understand!!
Well, I hope you have all had a great week! We are headed to the lake this weekend for some family time and to celebrate Father's Day. Hopefully I'll get some good blog material while we are there! I wish you all a great weekend, and on the off chance that I have any dad's that read my blog, I wish you a VERY HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!
Monday was one of the days where we spent pretty much ALL day outside. We went to Wal-Mart that morning to pick up some more paint supplies, and after nap, the kids painted for an hour or so. They had SO much fun! Parker doesn't know how to do anything neatly. He had paint EVERYWHERE!!
I love the little smirk she is making! He's putting paint on a sponge Here's Parker's half-way through
Here's Peyton's half-way through How do you get it on your nose?!?!
Trying to get every last drop of paint! "Look at my brush Mama!"
Man, he's a MESS!! Parker's finished work-of-art! Peyton's finished work-of-art!
So what do YOU think? The next Picasso's?!?!
