Seriously?!?!

Today Parker tells me that he has to go poop, so off he goes just like any other "normal" time. Today wasn't any "normal" time though! Of course not!

He had been in there a little longer than usual, but I honestly didn't think anything of it. This may be TMI for some of you, but he often gets a little constipated, so I just assumed it was taking him a little longer to get it out. Boy, I was wrong!!!

Parker comes out of the bathroom, covered in water, telling me he's sorry. OH NO!! I ask him what he has done and he tells me that he "flushed the things with the flowers on them", and water went everywhere. I knew immediately that he was talking about my tampons!

First thought of course, since I'm a mom and a blogger, was to grab the camera. I turn it on to record as I am walking into the hallway and the bathroom. OH MY GOODNESS! I was not prepared for what I saw!

There was SO much water, about an inch covering the entire floor, that it had flooded out to the carpet and there were tampons in the hallway. You will see in the video how many tampons there were. It was almost an entire box of 40! They were EVERYWHERE!

I had to stick my hand in the toilet, up the pipe, and dig out about 10 tampons. Luckily though, I think he had done his business first and flushed, because there wasn't any poop or pee in any of the water. I'm pretty sure he had finished up, went to wash his hands, and saw the tampons on the counter. Then he had his bright idea!

It took 12 towels to get all the water soaked up and I soaked up as much as I could from the carpet. I have had a fan blowing on the carpet all day, so luckily it is almost dry. I know toddlers are capable of just about anything, but I never expected this! Not to mention the fact that I have enough laundry as it is. Did he really have to add 2 more loads?!?!

I hope you all enjoy the video. It's pretty comical to me now, but it wasn't AT ALL when it happened!
